I mentioned on my doll blog that I have been inspired by Alyson Stansfield to celebrate my accomplishments for 2007 and plan my wins/set my goals for 2008 (click the link to her site and then scroll down a bit to see the post). In this post I will list what I feel I accomplished for 2007. Tomorrow I will outline what I have planned for 2008. Both the Quilt Art List and the Everyday Matters list have been discussing art goals for the coming year. It is great to see people make a commitment to follow their passion.
2007 Wins
- Got work accepted into three juried exhibitions
- Put together DGB Quilts blog
- Became more focused on the business and marketing side of my art with great results which include feature lenghth stories on my work
- Designed and taught new workshops in surface design and art quilting
- Regularly kept my sketchbook and experimented more with COLOR
- Completed two large sketchbooks this year
- Hand dyed and painted untold yards of fabric

I’m so glad that I stopped by to read your 2007 progress report – and to look through your fabulous quilts. Can’t wait to read your goals and revisit you as you finish more of your UFOs.
